October 9th 2016 Autumn Walk
A group of Cickers members met at 10.00am on a glorious October morning. Lots of sunshine and quite warm. Nym Bowers had researched the area and we were given lots of facts to make the walk even more interesting. We set off from St Julian’s Friars car park turning left towards the English Bridge. Lots of us had not noticed the dolphins on the bridge before. We continued along the river until eventually we arrived at the weir.
This was a new area for some of the walkers.
We then returned via the Castle Walk and Underdale Road. We walked over the English Bridge and back along the river to the car park. Once again lunch was booked at The White Horse.
